The Castle Group
The Castle Group is a financial services firm that counsels clients on financial strategies, legacy planning, risk management and insurance services.
Lawyers and other professionals who are in charge of the management of family trusts (legal entities that allow wealthy individuals to pass their assets onto their intended beneficiaries with minimum taxation impact).
We are interested in a logo that helps project an image of old-school, timeless values in the protection of assets. We are also interested in projecting that we have specialized intellectual assets that we use to craft superior insurance products for our clients, many of whom are trusts.
We would like your help in the creation of a logo that portrays two pieces of a chess board: a rook and a king. The symbolism is the act of "castling," where the rook is positioned in a way that protects the king.
The logo should be horizontal in nature and present the rook (representing the castle and therefore protection) protecting the king (representing the client and its assets). To reinforce the protection theme, we believe the rook should be in the foreground and the king in the background. The graphical treatment will be on the left side, with the words "The Castle Group" to the right. Underneath the brand name "The Castle Group" we would like to see descriptive language that defines what we do; "financial strategies" and "trust analytics."
We look to your guidance whether the treatment of the rook/king is more "representative" or "abstract." The overall impression after viewing the logo, should be that the firm has old-school, timeless values and plans intelligently.
