The following words, which describe me, also describe the type of logo I'm looking for:
Edgy, cool, Powerful, BOLD, confident, rock & roll, sophisticated, New York City but STILL FEMININE, 'ball-sy', artistic and beautiful.
I am extremely visually developed and so am looking for a fabulous and beautiful, yet simple design.
Check out the photo I've uploaded, to give you a sense of who is Cari Cole and the image I'm looking for.
I work in my New York music studio with my artists, but increasingly, I'll be selling products, services, programs, and other leveraged and online offerings - including some very high end programs down to some very reasonably priced ways to work with me
** Young rising pop and rock stars
** American Idol's
** Established rock stars
** Music industry - managers, producers, record labels
My audience ranges from the young teens through artists in their twenties and thirties --- as well as music industry labels, managers and producers looking for help with their artists.
Here are some of my artists and industry I work with - please check out these sites so you get an idea of my clients:
~ See pic of Cari (attached), for feel of this logo.
~ NOT flowerly ~ Cool, edgy, bold, rock & roll - contemporary but not masculine - MOST OF MY CLIENTS ARE FEMALE. NO MUSIC NOTES --- too corny!
~ Typeface should be clear, simple, use a "rounded a" -- not like this one with the top curve "a" and BOLD (not capitals -- bolded font)
~The name C A R I C O L E is part of the logo - either 1) caricole (all lower case) or perhaps 2) or Cari Cole. The full name will be a part of the logo, one word. Name should be a very strong design element - really 'stand out'. See http://www.christinekane.com -- like this!
~ Use this tagline for now(not final) "Sing It. Dream It. Be It." (If we can't decide our tagline by the time this process is done, we may go without one for now.)
~ A small graphic design element, which combined with the name + tag line- but this is where you as designers can do your magic for us and give us ideas you have. We like this design -www.christinekane.com
~ Here is an example of what we are trying to avoid:URL here
~ Feel free to experiment with colors! Must be bold, alive, shimmering. Colors to avoid: *****
~ Required files: Print file format - .ai (CMYK) / Web file format - .jpg and layered .psd (RGB)
~DO NOT use stock images or clip art - NO MUSICAL NOTES or OBVIOUS STUFF relating to the music
