Hartman Beer Company
We are an avid group of beer drinkers trying to help a good friend pursue his dream of starting a brewery. He’s been producing great beers out of his basement for some time now and is getting ready to take one of his beers to a local brewing event later this year. We want to be sure his brew stands out by branding it professionally!
We want this beer to have a broad appeal to all the local folks who work hard and look forward to enjoying a good beer after a long day and an even longer week! We’re targeting adventurous Colorado people looking to unwind with a good pint after a long climb, ride, or hike.
We are looking for a logo to represent the Hartman Beer Company.
1. At this point, this logo will represent the company and the initial beer, but there is a chance that as the brand expands each variety of beer will have its own look and feel and this logo will represent the ‘parent’ or brewery itself. This logo therefore needs some versatility to it and should not focus on a specific type of beer.
2. Although we want this to be ‘fun’ – we do not want to look cheap or childlike. This is seriously good beer that will one day compete with some of the area’s top brands!
3. Because we want to be fun, we don’t want anything too elegant. We do not want to come across as ‘champagne’. We want the brand to feel accessible.
4. The typeface should be clear, simple and bold. We will need to print this logo on labels, t-shirts, stickers, etc. so keep that in mind.

*Note - we like the way Avery Brewing incorporates the letter A, we'd like to try to incorporate the letter H in our logo.

We like red and blue - but can be open about colors.
We will need print and web files.
