BAMF | Design or illustrate/draw a badass new logo for an iconic brand's new website "BAMF.COM"

BAMF is a leading growth marketing agency, content publisher, tech developer, and community of "Badass Marketers & Founders" around the world. We are also releasing a badass new NFT collection in a month, and a new BAMF apparel clothing line this year. New books, a possible comic book series + games based on our NFTs. The brand, like our name, is EXPLODING and taking over! This new logo needs to be versatile to work everywhere and be recognizable and readable in an instant. We are based in Venice Beach, California, and have punk rock, surfer/skateboarder, vibe, and generally "rebel" vibe. Brands I like for reference: VICE, VANS, VOLCOM, NIKE, SUPREME. They all have strong black and white iconic style logos with a bit of a "street/rebel/skate" style, which is what I want. And we are launching new products and service lines as mentioned above, so we are evolving our branding to match our new level as a company. I'm open to pure typography-based logos, and logos that are typography + an accent/icon graphic if it's minimal tasteful and represents BAMF. Love most surf/skateboard brand logos styles. I am not tied to any style. Challenge is being BOLD. Strong. Edgy. Badass.... while also being "high-end, modern, polished." We are both a high-end agency offering influencer/content marketing services for B2B brands and celebrity entrepreneurs like Jay Shetty, Prince Ea, Russell Brunson, and many more.... thus, we can't look "too cartoony" unless it looks really cool and crisp. We are also based our home is in edgy badass Venice beach - where skateboarding was invented, The Doors, Red Hot Chili Peppers, and other rock bands hail from - and we have this rebel lifestyle. We are high-end rebels. We are tech, marketing, content, influencer, NFT art, and street/skate/surf apparel. We are a lot of things. We are badass. We are BAMF. Please review the Pinterest brand mood and creative inspiration board for reference and direction: https://www.pinterest.com/houstongolden/bamf-branding/ I am not tied to any style, but I am picky and will give honest feedback on every design submission based on the criteria I've put here in the brief and the style I've conveyed through the mood board on Pinterest. Your challenge is balancing being both — BOLD. Strong. Edgy. Cool. Badass.... while also being HIGH-END, sophisticated, minimal, modern, polished. Other requirements and requests... DO THIS: - Share your logo concept with both a plain solid black and a white background included in a single submission. - UPPERCASE "BAMF" - Scroll through this to get a sense of my vibe... "BAMF Branding Mood Board 2022" on Pinterest: https://www.pinterest.com/houstongolden/bamf-branding DON'T DO THIS: - Don't post duplicates. - Please no backward or upside-down letters. - No “B” icons… that doesn’t add anything and looks redundant in front of BAMF letters… - Don't include any colors in your logos. Black & White only. - Letters need to be horizontal, not stacked 2x2 like this. All four UPPERCASE letters across required: BAMF - Don't render your logo concept on any physical objects - no hats, shirts, posters, bags, biz cards, etc. All logos posted as physical renders like this will be instantly rejected. Again…. no rendering of logos on physical objects, including iPhone. As mentioned in brief. - Don't post duplicate black/white variations as separate submissions, those should be stacked, side by side, or however you want to include in a single submission how you would like. - Don't include ".COM" in the logo, just BAMF. - I'm realizing I'm actually not a big fan of negative space typography style either for our logo at least, even if it shows up in the mood board. Here are a few other stylistic traits to avoid I'm realizing I don't like in terms of typography direction. TYPOGRAPHY STYLES TO AVOID... - too "wavey" - too "thin" lettering - too "feminine" - negative space letters - backward or upside-down letters - split or cut in half letters - lower-case, or capital case... never "bamf" or "Bamf" TYPOGRAPHY STYLES TO CONSIDER TRYING... - always UPPERCASE - BAMF, never bamf. - anything as long as bold/strong and "instantly readable letters" - Strong, bold, geometric, straight-edged - Bold italic, or leaning forward, bold with a bit of motion/energy - a bold cartoony/bubbly style IF it still looks cool and edgy, which I've found is a hard style to achieve, but the VICE logo is the perfect example of this. Somehow still bubble/graffiti typography style, but still looks rock n roll, strong, masculine, edgy. - A strong graffiti, brush, or any masculine bold font with a creative drop-shadow, outline effect, or custom graphic accent - Other modern creative font styles OK... all of this is meant to HELP you avoid wasting time on designs I won't like or just reject.... BUT... I don't want to stifle creativity. I want to see as much creativity as possible. PLEASE SURPRISE ME with your creativity and feel free to offer designs that challenge my requests/requirements if they are truly badass in your mind's eye. Let's rock 'n roll!
