Tell us a bit about who you are and the people you reach
We are a 100-voice chorus celebrating 30+ years of offering beautiful and engaging choral music to audiences in the Boston area. We are undergoing re-branding this year and will change our name from Brookline Chorus to Metropolitan Chorale of Brookline beginning with the 2011-2012 season (starts fall 2011). The new name reflects our evolution from a small community of singers to a large, auditioned chorus, now drawing singers and audiences from the Greater Boston metropolitan area. (Please visit our web site at brooklinechorus.org to get a broad view of our music, our concerts and our design vibe. Our current logo is found there, too.)
Logo types to explore
To give us an idea of the overall feeling of your brand, let us know which styles you lean towards
Target audiences: 1. Music lovers - People who know the artistic landscape, consider themselves supporters of the arts and can appreciate what they are hearing. 2. Donors - Individuals, foundations and corporations - in the Greater Boston area, and not just those in Brookline - with an interest in the arts. 3. Singers – in the Greater Boston area interested in a varied repertoire, serious about music, committed to quality and willing to have fun.
We would also like the logo to be adaptable: we will use the tag "of Brookline" for a period of time after we change our name, in order to keep our local audiences engaged. Eventually, however, we may drop that and just refer to the group as the Metropolitan Chorale.
