Nigaoe is a very good designer. Excellent ideas, precise production and extremely quick in revision. From the beginning nigaoe was one of our favorites. His design needed just some little tweaking and was perfect for our purpose. Recommendation!

How RebornAuto started their logo design journey
Reborn Auto Works ("RAW"...yes, I know it's corny, and sounds like we're wrestlers...)
We're a family-run auto body shop in Calgary, Alberta, Canada. We've been in business about 7 years. My father, who started the business from scratch has been in the industry for 37 years. He's also the Pastor of a local church, which is where the "Reborn" part of the name comes from (mind you, I guess it could also refer to your car being reborn after it's been in an accident). He is known in the industry for his integrity, and the quality of his work. I'm currently trying to step into his shoes and let him start relaxing more. My background is as a management exec and lawyer. We're currently trying to rebrand (our name right now is "Alex Reborn Auto Body") and expand. Our clients are a mix of auto dealerships, rental companies, insurance companies, and private clients (i.e. you when you get into an accident). Our shop does everything from fixing the ding in your bumper, all the way to major collisions and write-offs. We also do frame work (to straighten your car) and have a full paint booth to make everything pretty once we pull your dent out. We have a basic website (http://alexrebornautobody.com) that we're looking to revamp and optimize in the near future.
Tell us a bit about who you are and the people you reach
The target audience is pretty wide, as it encompasses pretty much anyone who owns a vehicle and may get into an accident. Even though our main business currently comes from auto dealerships, rental car companies, and insurance companies, this rebranding is an attempt to be more appealing to your average consumer that may need work done to their vehicle. It's a tough trade, because just like mechanics and plumbers, a good one is hard to find, and you never know who you can trust.
We're pretty open to any ideas that you may have. We currently just have a blue stylized script that we use for our name. It could be more stylized script, a cartoon character, icon, etc. We would like something that is corporate, but edgy (can't be too stuffy). A symbol or script that when people see it, they will immediately associate that with our company. We'd like to dream big, and think that it'll be like the Nike Swoosh or Orange County Choppers, but I'll settle for cool and unique to start.:-) We would appreciate receiving the artwork in a vector format (i.e. Adobe Photoshop or Illustrator).
