pmatter got their new icon or button by running a design contest:
We need an icon for a NYC Bicyling App

We create mobile apps
What's your vision?
We have created an app that displays the location of bike racks and bike share locations in New York City. We're looking for a cleanly designed icon that represents the function of the app and ideally incorporates some of these themes: - New York City (Skyline, Street Grid, etc) - Unique Bike Rack Design (See Examples Below) - Commuting - Recreation - Fun We realize that it would be very difficult to incorporate all of these themes. They are just intended to give you some ideas. The icon should be vector based so that we can scale it for standard and retina displays. It will also be displayed on a splash screen, so the primary art should be easily extractable for that purpose. Please provide examples at 57x57 and larger so that we can determine how the artwork will look at all sizes. We're looking forward to seeing what you come up with!
