We do mobile apps, for now on the iPhone
What's your vision?
We would like someone to design 14 icons, a background and an app icon for us. Main/Home screen: Restaurants Bars Coffee Attractions Recent Press Restaurants on Home screen takes users to Restaurants Nearby screen: Indian Asian Veg/Veg Friendly/Veg Plus Fast Food All Press Attractions on Home screen takes users to Attractions Nearby screen: Must See Popular Free All Our theme colors are the ones in our logo. We got the logo designed in such a way that the colors can be modified if there need be but we would like our icons to generally use the same colors as our logo. The other 3 screens are the Main, Restaurant Nearby and Attractions Nearby screens. Everything on these screens is designed except for the icons and this is where you come in. We also want you to design the background of the main page. Since the icons are the main UI elements displayed on the main screen we want the background to be in sync with the icons as well as the general vibe of the application which is cheerful, peppy and colorful without being gaudy. We have concepts and a few mockups/implementations which are attached. The one with 3 mangoes is our logo and we want our app icon and the initial/loading screen to have this. We would like for you to design both the icon and the loading screen around the logo. The home screen concept shown here is something we really liked but it was dominating the entire app and the subsequent screens are not able to keep up with it. Moving between the home screen and the other screens(the transition) is very clunky not gradual/smooth. We thought the colors should be evened out and the screen switching should be smooth. Having picture(s) in the background of the home screen is optional. We want the icons to be simple and complementary to other elements on the screen in terms of color. All the ribbons(M 4.0, M 3.0, Open, Closed, Hurry) in the Restaurant Nearby and Attractions Nearby screens are optional and the colors can change depending on the values displayed. These colors are in tune with our logo colors. You should not base your use of colors on the colors displayed in the ribbons because they are optional but if a full set is displayed in the ribbons the whole screen should not look gaudy. The screens attached were designed for iPhone 4/4s but we would like the icons to be iPhone5 ready as well, which means they should be able to handle minor vertical expansion. Also attached example icons photo1 and photo2 which we were very impressed by. The impressive factor is that they are asymmetric and 3D and are not your typical icons. Although we are not looking for anything that is at this caliber or this detail we wanted to let you know what impresses us. These would work nicely on the home screen since we need large rectangular icons.
