What's your vision?
We'd like the Tanuki to be on the cartoony side. We'd like different positions/poses of the tanukis, sometimes with just one, sometimes as a pair. What we had in mind for the suggested color scheme was for the tanukis to be a brown-orange, clothed in blue kimono. We intend to use the tanukis as a mascot, not just as part of a static logo so the mascot poses/positions for reuse later would be helpful. We want two tanukis in the logo and we'd like both tanukis to be gender neutral.
This mascot is for an adult education company, so we want cute but not necessarily for kids! We'd like colored and uncolored versions, the latter so that we can use it as an imprint on book covers that might have different colors. New requirements for final version: ## Format We'd like the final assets to be in either a vectorized format or something very high resolution. ## Logo appropriate We want a pair for the logo. Logotype could go under or next to the pair of tanukis. We'd like color and colorless versions. The colorless versions will probably need thicker outlining to be properly visible. Would like final versions of the mascots to be vectorized or very high resolution. ## Tanuki-Ball We'd like a curled up tanuki if possible. ## Tanuki pair - Playing - Fighting - walking with happy-to-neutral expression ## Emoticon'ish versions - Happy/smiling - Sad/worried - Angry/fighting face - Surprised face - Thoughtful / pondering / curious

Great designer, extremely responsive and has an uncanny ability to correctly interpret written comments into enhancements of the design. Works fast and accurately and meets deadlines. Very good communications. I love the logo he created for us and it now adorns our website, signage outside our brick and mortar building, emails, letterhead, business cards, etc.
Along the way, they met lots of talented designers…
We think contests are a super fun way to get design.
