Wedding invitation for Sandra and Peter. There will be two separate weddings - one in Hungary and one in Shanghai. After the wedding in Hungary, there will be a small tour around a few locations in the country to introduce our guests to Hungarian culture.
What's your vision?
We want to design the following: 1) Save the Date (Hungary) 2) Save the Date (Shanghai) 3) Wedding invitation (Hungary) 4) Wedding invitation (Shanghai) 5) Thank you cards (Hungary) 6) Thank you cards (Shanghai) 7) Ceremony Program (Hungary) 8) Wedding logo We will have to translate some text into Hungarian and Chinese, but we can definitely work with the designers to do this - especially important for wedding ceremony programs and some detailed instructions.
We are Sandra Zhu and Peter Balogh - we are both in our early 30s, international and have lived in several countries. We will be getting married next year, with a main ceremony in Debrecen, Hungary on July 8 and a second event in Shanghai on August 6. While we don't yet have a theme or idea for the wedding, we do not want it to be traditional Hungarian or Chinese, as this does not describe us very well. We prefer more modern, chic, simple and fun styles but not too much bright colors (ie no typical Chinese style red or very deep colors). White background is preferred. Other colors we like are coral, Tiffany blue and gold. Both block and cursive fonts are ok however for cursive fonts, we prefer the ones that are not too fancy and still easy enough for our guests to read. In addition, we prefer more of a neutral look, nothing too feminine (eg. a lot of flowers) Here is a pinterest board for some ideas https://www.pinterest.com/sandrapeter2016/wedding-invitations/ The website for the wedding venue in Hungary is: http://www.aszrendezvenyhaz.hu/en The facebook page for the wedding venue in Shanghai is: https://www.facebook.com/HouseofRoosevelt
