I am getting married and want unique and special graphic design.
What's your vision?
Three designed pieces are requested: Part I) rectangular invitation (1 sided) (this should be vertical). Part II) coordinating reception card (1 sided). Part III) crest or emblem that can be used throughout the wedding styling that incorporates our names (for the emblem please use ‘Andy’ instead of ‘Andrew’) Part I: The wedding invitation Copy for invitation: Together with Their Families Meghan Elizabeth Moore & Andrew Richard Mueller Invite you to their wedding Saturday, May 31, 2014 at six o’clock in the evening Wesley United Methodist Church 1401 NW 25th Street Oklahoma City, OK 73106 Please RSVP No Later Than May 17, 2014 ------------- Part II: Reception Card Copy for card: You’re Invited to a Wedding Reception Immediately Following the Ceremony Great Banking Hall- First National Center 120 North Robinson Oklahoma City, OK 73102 For any additional information please visit our website Design elements for Invitation and Reception Card: The inspiration for the invitation is coming from the reception space (see photos below). The reception is being held in an old banking room that was built in the 1930s. We would like the design elements for the wedding to reflect an art-deco aesthetic (think Great Gastby). The space is really warm, and we would like to play up the warmth by using warm, bright colors. The neutrals in our palette will be khaki/beige and gold (metallic). The following hex codes may be helpful, but you should not feel limited by them.: #F3E2A9 #FA5858 #FE2E2E #FE9A2E It should not have an overly formal feel, and should stay sort of gender neutral- not overly feminine and not overly masculine. We have uploaded a couple examples of invitations we liked below: -Possible design elements: Art-Deco Border Art-Deco Font(s) Incorporation of the aforementioned emblem featuring our names Any other art-deco inspired graphics, etc. More info: Submissions should be in PNG format so that we can edit elements in Fireworks if needed as addresses, times, etc are subject to change. Remember, the crest, fonts and elements may be incorporated throughout the styling of the wedding, so please keep this in mind while designing
