Creative Icon for Mac App: RapidClick

I'm an independent Mac software developer making apps for the Mac App Store.

I need an icon for my new application, RapidClick. It is a simple app that rapidly clicks the mouse up to 10 times per second. It's useful for anyone who needs to click the mouse a lot and doesn't want tired hands. Especially users of games such as FarmVille which need lots of clicking (all that harvesting crops)!

I'm looking for something fairly fun which appeals to the eye and conveys the idea of rapid clicking.

I'd like something pictorial and creative, slightly unusual. Something that represents the slightly quirky nature of the app. Here are a few ideas for elements that could make a memorable icon:
- some kind of 'clicking machine' , a contraption with wheels and levers
- nodding bird toy
- woodpecker
... or some other concept, these are just ideas.

The app's UI is red and black/grey (see attached pictures) so perhaps those colours could be used.

Icon should look great as a standard Mac OS X icon at 512x512 and scale down well to smaller sizes too. I would also like source files for the design (psd, ai etc.)

The app name should not be in the icon.
