We are a fast-growing startup that is revolutionizing the way businesses interact with their customers. Our product (currently in alpha) helps retailers sell big-ticket gifts (like LCD TVs, Furniture, Travel, etc.) by making it easy and fun for people to chip in and give those gifts with their friends. Even though we're less than a year old, we've gained a ton of traction with retailers and have some of the most well-known retailers on the planet knocking down our door to work with us. We have a great management team and are backed by an outstanding group of angel investors. We will be the driving force behind the coming social commerce revolution and will enable new and exacting ways for retailers to interact with their customers.
This button will be used on product pages (like for a LCD TV) and will function a lot like an "add to cart" button. This button needs to appeal to people interested in finding and giving great gifts. This button will be used on pages with expensive items (+$100) and needs to communicate that gift givers can buy the item with friends. After the user clicks the button, they're taken into a social checkout flow where they enter the recipient's name, invite friends to contribute to the gift, and start collecting money.
We need a new, polished "Buy with Groupit" button (doesn't necessarily need those words) that will allow people to start the process to buy an expensive gift with their friends.
We need a button created that will communicate:
1) That people can buy a big gift with friends
2) Groupit branding
3) Cool, fun buying option
This button could be used in the place of the "add to cart" button typically seen on most ecommerce sites for big-ticket, expensive item pages (like this one from Best Buy: http://bit.ly/9EQJOz)
The button you create should be designed in such a way that it could feasibly appear below (or in place of) the "Add to Cart" button on the Best Buy page above.
Your Design should:
1) Be Clean
2) Consistent with Web 2.0 styles
3) Be big enough to accommodate short phrases like: "Give as a Group", "Give a Group Gift", or "Buy with Your Friends"
If you like, consider including:
1) a subtitle/text under the button
2) some/all of Groupit logo
3) some/all of Groupit colors
