DailyRoads Voyager is a free application for Android-powered mobile phones, allowing for continuous video recording from vehicles. Essentially, the application acts as a video black box, recording everything, but only keeping what the driver is really interested in.

To the winning designer we are also offering a $248 voucher for an ARCHOS 5 Internet Tablet, so you can use our application on a real piece of hardware. Archos doesn't deliver to Romania, so we can't get the tablet ourselves, but would be happy to send the voucher to the designer, whose winning design we ultimately choose. See the details here http://appslib.com/contest/index.html and ask questions in the comments below.
This new application will be used on Android smartphones. Basically any driver can place the phone on the windscreen, and record all the journeys.
We need just 18 small icons, and 5 buttons, many of them being variations in the same set. What we currently have, are only placeholders, and they are listed in the attached PDF document.
Due to different screen resolutions of the target phones, the buttons and arrow icons may be stretched vertically, so the images should look OK under these conditions, too.
The images can be in any of JPG, GIF, PNG formats, basically using a max of 256 colors, to result in smaller file sizes. A PSD with all the images (or image sets) would be also nice to get.
