I worked with Lena for the cover of my debut novel and was stunned by what she created out of my descriptions and thoughts, so there was no question I'd work with her on the sequel as well. The cover she created turned out even better than I imagined and I can't say how grateful I am. Working with Lena is always easy, she responded quickly to all my requests and understood what I had in mind for the cover. I highly reccomend her.

How FinleyAaron started their book cover journey
Beauty and the Beast and the Enchantress
They say I’m evil.
They’ve called me jealous, petty, obsessive…wicked.
But none of those who call me a villain realize what I was up against, and how my actions saved the prince and the kingdom. For years I told myself it didn’t matter what they thought—I knew the truth, and that was enough. As time goes on, though, it’s occurred to me that history often repeats itself. And we came so close to losing everything the last time.
There is a fate worse than death, and it almost befell us all.
In order to understand that, you’ve got to know the whole story. Many people have attempted to tell the story of Beauty and the Beast, but none of those understood why I did what I did.
This is my side of the story.
Teens and adults, and also tweens
Male and Female
Other color requirements
Colors should be dark and vibrant, with high contrast.
Must be eye-catching in thumbnail
This is a fairy-tale retelling for teens. It is somewhat gritty and dark. I want a vivid, compelling, eye-catching cover.
Beauty and the beast is the hook, so you can incorporate traditional elements of that. A red rose, castle, beautiful female (all optional--do not overcrowd). There are also strong magical elements.
