How erincall started their book cover journey
The Revenge Of The Maddened
Kyleigh Call is a young author born in San Deigo, California. From as young of an age as six, she has adored writing and language. Her elementary school teachers would bring her work home to show their children and use it as an example. Her passion for writing shows in all aspects of her life.
"The Revenge Of The Maddened" is a realistic fiction book created to kill the cliche. This book is about a female pirate named Charlie and her crew (The Maddened). Charlie's father was an infamous pirate, known for his raids and merciless slaughters. The king of Ladora, Elijah, wanted him dead more than anything. So Elijah set out to find and kill him. He was unaware of the fact that he had a daughter. Once he was dead, Charlie took over, continuing her dad's work, wanting nothing more than revenge. Over the years, she built up a crew of men who hated the king as much as she did. The way that they found to cause the most trauma in the kingdom was to kidnap the upcoming prince, Elliott. On board the ship (The Madness) Charlie and her crew befriend him, and discover that he hates the king just as much as they do. Fake news is spread that Charlie's first mate, Andy's father had been killed by the king. They find out that he was only being held prisoner. The crew heads back, looking to swap the prince for Andy's father. Elliott wants them to stay in the castle, and his father commits suicide. When his discovers his father's note to him, he decides not to take up the crown. Instead, Elliott's sister becomes the first female ruler.

What colors do you want to see in your design?
Other color requirements
For this cover, the more faded and not vibrant are what I am looking for.
1500's era ship on the water. Girl with her back turned- light brown curly hair. "The Madness" written on front side of ship. Stormy-ish waters.
What to avoid
Avoid super bright colors and comic anything. Not cartoon people.
