This is a book to help introduce young people (8-16) to the magical healing powers of crystals and gems. This is new age book, and a young adult book. The tone is very friendly and bright. The images should be colorful and fun.

The target audience is 14 year old girls. But it should appeal to all genders, age 8 to 16.

Title: Crystals and Gemstones for Kids and Teens Subtitle: A beginner’s guide to the healing and self-care magic of crystals, gems, and stones - including charka and zodiac / astrology crystals - with their meanings. The book cover should be 5.5 x 8.5. I'm including the cover design for the previous book by the same author. If you can make them look related, that would be fantastic. But new ideas are also very welcome. The book is about crystals, so using bright crystals would be good. I'd prefer photos to drawings. The use of geometric shapes is good too, since crystals are in regular, geometric shapes. You can use the cartoon image of the author too, if you like. That might lead to some fun designs.
