infcki got their new book cover by running a design contest:
Create a mystical book cover with sparkle

Tarot Journal Notebook
The book is a journal to log tarot card readings
tarot card readers, people interest in spirituality, magic and the esoteric
Book cover type
I am looking for soft pastel colours but with a mystical look and feel. Possibly something with a bit of sparkle I do not want actual images of regular tarot cards as these type of images tend to be bright colours. If it was possible to produce images of tarot cards in a tarot spread, or as a deck of tarot cards using soft colours to complement the backgound colours, this would work. I have uploaded an image with an idea of a colour scheme but would like more sparkle adding. (Please note I do not want the image in the upload, I am simply referring to the colour scheme of the image)
What to avoid
I do not want dark colours. I do not want usual images of tarot cards.
It all began with a design brief.
A quick, interactive guide helped them understand their design style and captured exactly what they needed in their book cover.
Designers across the globe delivered design magic.
infcki collaborated with designers to refine their ideas
When design entries come in, you can rate them so designers know what you’re looking for in your logo design.
99designs has great collaboration tools so you can pinpoint and capture your ideas
And then… they selected 2 winners!
88dsgnr immediately understood what I was going for from my very bad drawing and designed a beautiful cover, with attention to detail, patience when I had some difficulties with the format and offered an all in all perfect service! Thank you!
Along the way, they met lots of talented designers…
We think contests are a super fun way to get design.
