Flexibility is a required trait when designing book covers. Nightcomer consistently demonstrated this trait in moving my design/concept to finished product. Also, Nightcomer showed patience in the final tweaks. This book cover was great. It adds flare (and wise flight) to my series of insight books. Thank you, DrWELLth.

Fantastic work, and great attention to detail. We had many fine designs to choose from, and his work stood out from the rest. I will definitely seek out this artist in the future.

How Jason81603 started their book cover journey
Who are you known as?
Jason Sole Consulting- From Prison to Ph.D.
What industry do you think your business is most related to?
Community & Non-Profit
Tell us a bit about who you are and the people you reach
This is an autobiography. Jason spent two years in prison and one year on work release. He is a three-time felon. He is a former drug dealer, "gang-banger," and he was a leader of a notorious street gang. The book is about how he came from that life to become a scholar, professor, and a leader.
What inspires you and how do you envision the design for your business?
This book will be 6 x 9. I aim to produce a cover that illustrates the journey from bottom to top. I would hope to show an image of a indistinctive black man walking down a dark street with a bag and passing by drug dealers, cops, homeless people, etc. and into the bright halls of a university. Bold colors with maybe some gray areas. This is a general idea but designers are free to be creative in all areas.
