This book is a guide for attracting birds to the reader's backyard; it is designed to show the reader how to draw their favourite species they want to observe to their garden. This book will show the reader how to turn their garden into a bird sanctuary.
People in the Pacific Northwest of America. Both Males and Females. The age range can vary from 50-80. People who love nature and, more specifically, birds and bird watching. This book focuses on feeding birds, nesting them, bathing and gardening.
Ebook cover dimensions 5.5 x 8.5 and a audiobook version 2,400 x 2,400 pixels. The font and style of the Title can be bold and standout it can be clearly viable somewhere near the top of the cover. The subtitle can be very subtle somewhere near the bottom of the page. The book is about attracting and caring for birds in peoples backyards in the Pacific Northwest region. My vision for the cover is to be different than all the other bird watching books out there that simply just have a bird as a stock image with the wording shaped around it. I want a cover that is unique and shows the reader that it is different. Some of my own ideas for what the cover could be include 1) A graphic of someones home shot at an overhead angle way high up in the sky with a multitude of different bird species making a direct flight to the persons home/garden/backyard/house (as they are being drawn there by the persons great backyard birding skills). This graphic of the birds being drawn to the house, back-yard and garden is supposed to visualise what the book can do for the reader. Any other suggestion or creative idea is more than welcome the general feel of the cover should be unique, modern, non-serious, fun but mostly importantly display great quality. See example of stock image attached this could be the perspective of the graphic created as the birds are flying in to the readers home & garden. This will obviously have to be a graphic or cartoon drawing to include all the different bird species and note to the designer. Include favourite North American birds in the graphic that are being attracted to person home.
What to avoid
Look at any birding or bird watching book cover out there and avoid that.
